Races From Trio (Human related Races)[]

A rough and dirty Human.

Human
Although it is a rare race; the human race is a considerable race to mention.

After all it was the human race that lead to many of these mentionable races.

Humans are balanced in their characteristics even though no two humans

look the same; they are normally able to achieve the same goals if they work

for it the same way. A human tends to like more physical abilities that enhance

his/her stats and normally tend to be a jack of all trades when it comes to class

types.

Appearance
Humans come in a skin tone that ranges from a pale white to a dark brown.

No matter the skin tone a human will normally not have any other protective

layer than skin and clothing. A human is the most basic in appearance and

will almost alway be wearing some type of adventurous gear.

Strength/Weakness
The Human's biggest strength is that it can adapt to any condition.

This gives them +1 agility and +1 perception

A human's biggest weakness is that they are easily prone to things. Sickness,

Disease, wounds, death. -1 endurance.

Super Mutant

Super mutants are creatures found all over the Trio 2100, which were created by being exposed to the Forced Evolutionary Virus (FEV). They are massive, muscle-bound creatures with a natural immunity to radiation damage and disease. While they will not normally die due to the normal effects of aging, super mutants are prone to senility, leading to tendencies to engage in near-psychotic, aggressive attacks against other humans and other creatures.

Appearance

Average super mutants stand approximately 10.4 feet tall (although they typically stand with hunched backs that reduce them to about 7.8 feet) and weigh around 800 pounds, possibly even more. Their skin color is predominately grayish green. Their skin is extremely tough, and their muscle and bone structure are enhanced well beyond the human norm. Most SM are bald and other with single strands of hair.

Strength/Weakness

 Due To their skin being relatively rougher than humans and their bone structure increased they have a \+5 in endurance

As that does seem like a really nice trait to have they lack -2 Agility and -1 Speed

Aliens up close

Aliens

Aliens, known as Zetans by conspiracy theorists are an extraterrestrial yellowish-green skinned humanoid race from an unknown planet. The Aliens were first seen in 2048 roaming the wasteland freely. They took the devastation of the planet as an advantage to start settling down and creating their new life. Aliens are intelligent creatures who use Nuclear material to a great advantage in their weapons. Their skin however is much weaker than humans and they are normally much shorter as well.

Appearance

Aliens are typically a greenish color ranging from yellowish green to dark green. They have much larger heads and eyes. Their eyes are completely black. Aliens are short and sometimes have long fingers.

Strength/Weakness

 Due To their skin being relatively weaker than humans they have a -2 in endurance

However they have an increases intelligence +2 and are one of the only races that can learn 12 abilities instead of 10.

A Ghost person(Gender undefined) up close

Ghost People

Created from constant exposure from a cloud of un-natural gases that were released from the explosion such as, gas, radiation, chemicals, ect. ect. Ghost people are very mysterious. They do not speak, and they seem to neither sleep nor eat. They seemingly exist only to lurk through the ruins seeking pray. They shamble like classic undead creatures. Despite this, they are in fact quite agile when necessary, often lunging and dashing with surprising and inhuman speed. Quite often, they will appear from the shadows to strike or pursue prey relentlessly throughout the region, stopping only once their victim(s) is dead or when they are dead themselves. 

Appearance

The Ghost People are always covered as they believe they will be blown away if exposed to the wind of the world (Even Though it is often a myth.) They are normally always wearing a mask and have a glowing to their eyes.

Strength/Weakness

 These creatures are normally really fast and Agile. +3 to speed +2 to agility

However they are not very perceptional -2 perception; and they don't speak. -4 charisma.

Ghoul's are often really scary in appearance

Radiation Ghouls

Radiation Ghouls  are decrepit, rotting, zombie-like mutants. They are recipients of intense and prolonged radiation sickness which decays their skin, and in some cases their ligaments. Paradoxically, they also have greatly extended overall lifespans and are, allegedly, immune to and even regenerate health from the hazards of background radiation and/or nuclear fallout. They often live in high radiated areas because of this. 

Appearance

As most ghouls are rotting and zombie like in appearance these ghouls tend to be the ugliest 

Strength/Weakness

Synths

Synths, created by the mysterious Trio Three Corporation, are classified into one of three generations depending upon their complexity. Gen 1 synths are purely mechanical humanoids with skeletal appearances; consequently, they are crude representations of living humans. Like their predecessors, Generation 2 synths are also mechanical, but have more advanced frames that are partially or fully covered in plastic panels that serve as "skin"; they might pass for humans if not closely inspected. Generation 3 synths represent the pinnacle of synth technology; with bio-mechanical bodies capable of respiration, bleeding, consuming, and feeling emotions and sensations, Generation 3 synths are indistinguishable from true humans.

Swampfolk

Products of radiation and incest, the swampfolk all act, look and sound like stereotypical "hicks," from the odd ways they walk to their vocabulary, such as "There you is!" and "I gonna kill you!"  Suffering from mental conditions they are often not as intelligent as humans. However they are incredibly accurate people. They are very territorial, and they are hostile to outsiders. Areas in which they live are all decorated with bones, strung-up dolls, teddy bears, and mannequin heads. These decorations serve as both a warning to outsiders and as a part of their own religion/cult, which is based on worshiping unknown deities.

Humanoid like all races from trio. Swampfolk often have deformities about their body. Resembling hillbillies.

Male dwarf

Dwarves

Dwarves are known for their skill in warfare, their ability to withstand physical and magical punishment, their knowledge of the planet's secrets, their hard work, and their capacity for drinking and being rude. Their mysterious  homes, carved out from the insides of mountains, caves, and undergrounds. 

Appearance

Dwarves stand only 4 to 4-1/2 feet tall, but they are so broad and compact that they are, on average, almost as heavy as humans. Dwarf men are slightly taller and noticeably heavier than dwarf women. Dwarves’ skin is typically deep white or light brown, and their eyes are dark. Their hair is usually black, gray, or brown, and worn long. Dwarf men value their beards highly and groom them very carefully. Dwarves favor simple styles for their hair, beards, and clothes. Dwarves are considered adults at about age 40, and they can live to be more than 400 years old.

High Elves 

As normally  They are well known for their poetry, dance, song, lore,and magical arts. Elves favor things of natural and simple beauty. When danger threatens them elves reveal a more martial side, demonstrating skill with sword, bow, and battle strategy. Elves normally seem proper and mighty even though so much bad has happened to their lands. High elves are Mostly hated however, this is because they are the reason for lunching the devastation. 

Appearance

High Elves are short and slim, standing about 4-1/2 to 5-1/2 feet tall and typically weighing 95 to 135 pounds, with elf men the same height as and only marginally heavier than elf women. They are graceful but frail. They tend to be pale-skinned and dark-haired, with deep green eyes. Elves have no facial or body hair. They prefer simple, comfortable clothes, especially in pastel blues and greens, and they enjoy simple yet elegant jewelry even in the horrids of the wasteland. Elves possess unearthly grace and fine features. Many humans and members of other races find them hauntingly beautiful. An elf reaches adulthood at about 110 years of age and can live to be more than 700 years old.

Wasteland Elves 

Born into the world of the wasteland. These elves were close to the devastation when it took place and most have lived through and suffered the after effects. Some were mutated giving their beauty to the deformities of their-selves. Some were effected in mind altering ways. Making them ragful and impolite. 

Appearance

Are often taller than most elves but only slightly. They wear ragged clothes and seem a bit darker in color than normal elves. They have pale white hair and red or yellow eyes. 

Strength/Weakness

Half-Elves 

The most HATED race of Elves in the wasteland due to being the production of a human and an Elf mating. This is considered very taboo in the Wasteland. The life of a half-elf can be hard. If raised by elves, the half-elf seems to grow with astounding speed, reaching maturity within two decades. The half-elf becomes an adult long before she has had time to learn the intricacies of elven art and culture, or even grammar. She leaves behind her childhood friends, becoming physically an adult but culturally still a child by elven standards. Typically, she leaves her elven home, which is no longer familiar, and finds her way among humans.If, on the other hand, she is raised by humans, the half-elf finds herself different from her peers: more aloof, more sensitive, less ambitious, and slower to mature. Some half-elves try to fit in among humans, while others find their identities in their difference. Most find places for themselves in human lands, but some feel like outsiders all their lives.

Appearance

To humans, half-elves look like elves. To elves, they look like humans—indeed, elves call them half-humans. Half-elf height ranges from under 5 feet to about 6 feet tall, and weight usually ranges from 100 to 180 pounds. Half-elf men are taller and heavier than half-elf women, but the difference is less pronounced than that found among humans. Half-elves are paler, fairer, and smoother-skinned than their human parents, but their actual skin tone, hair color, and other details vary just as human features do. Half-elves’ eyes are green, just as are those of their el\f parents. A half-elf reaches adulthood at age 20 and can live to be over 180 years old. Most half-elves are the children of human–elf pairings. Some, however, are the children of parents who themselves are partly human and partly elf. Some of these “second generation” half-elves have humanlike eyes, but most still have green eyes.

An older Halfling

Halflings  

Halflings are clever, capable opportunists. Halfling individuals and clans find room for themselves wherever they can. Often they are strangers and wanderers, and others react to them with suspicion or curiosity, but regardless Halflings are Survivors and great Scavengers. Halflings prefer trouble to boredom. They are notoriously curious. Relying on their ability to survive or escape danger, they demonstrate a daring that many larger people can’t match.

Appearance

Halflings stand about 3 feet tall and usually weigh between 30 and 35 pounds. Their skin is ruddy, their hair black and straight. They have brown or black eyes. Halfling men often have long sideburns, but beards are rare among them and mustaches almost unseen. They like to wear simple, comfortable, and practical clothes. A halfling reaches adulthood at the age of 20 and generally lives into the middle of her second century. This means they most likely are born into the wasteland rather than serving during the entire devastation.

Gnome

Gnomes are welcome everywhere as technicians, alchemists, and inventors. Despite the demand for their skills, most gnomes prefer to remain among their own kind, living in comfortable burrows beneath rolling, wooded hills where animals or what's left of them abound.

Appearance

Gnomes stand about 3 to 3-1/2 feet tall and weigh 40 to 45 pounds. Their skin ranges from dark tan to woody brown, their hair is fair, and their eyes can be any shade of blue. Gnome males prefer short, carefully trimmed beards. Gnomes generally wear leather or earth tones, and they decorate their clothes with intricate stitching or fine jewelry. Gnomes reach adulthood at about age 40, and they live about 350 years, though some can live almost 500 years.

DragonBorn

To a dragonborn, honor is more important than life itself. First and foremost, honor is tied to battlefield conduct. Adversaries should be treated with courtesy and respect, even if they are bitter enemies. Caution and discretion are key to a warrior’s survival, but fear is a disease and cowardice is a moral failing. The drive to behave honorably extends into the rest of a dragonborn’s life: Breaking an oath is the height of dishonor, and attention to honesty extends to every word. A commitment made must be carried out. Ultimately, a dragonborn takes responsibility for his or her actions and their consequences.

Appearance

Dragonborn resemble humanoid dragons. They’re covered in scaly hide, but they don’t have tails. They are tall and strongly built, often standing close to 6 feet in height and weighing 150 pounds or more -- females being of basically the same height and weight as males. Their hands and feet are strong, talon like claws with four fingers and a thumb on each hand. A dragonborn’s head can feature a blunt snout, a strong brow, and distinctive frills at the cheek and ear. Behind the brow, a crest of hornlike scales of various lengths resembles thick, ropy hair. Their eyes are shades of red or gold.

Tiefling

Tieflings tend to have an unsettling air about them, and most people are uncomfortable around them, whether they are aware of the tiefling’s unsavory ancestry or not. While some look like normal humans, most retain physical characteristics derived from their ancestor, with the most common such features being horns, non-prehensile tails, and pointed teeth.

Appearance

Tieflings have horns and longer faces than humans. In many other ways tieflings are similar to humans physically. Tieflings are, on average, just as tall as humans, from 5'6" to 6'2" and weigh just a little bit heavier at 140 to 220 lbs. Tiefling skin is usually human-like in color, though extending past normal human colors into reddish hues as well. Tiefling hair is often the same color as human hair as well, though dark blue, red, or purple are also common shades among the race.[6] Although it is not always the case, tieflings tend to have better reflexes than their human kin. This, along with their natural propensity for hiding and deceit helps to give tieflings a reputation for thievery and duplicity
